I earned my credentials as a GIA Diamond Graduate in 2009. But after years in the trade, I realized a hard truth: a certificate is just a piece of paper.
I saw the reality of the market—jewelers pushing "inventory" to meet sales goals rather than finding the right stone for a life-changing moment.
I founded Osiris Diamonds to change that dynamic. I don’t report to a sales manager; I report to the physics of light.
I took my knowledge to YouTube to pull back the curtain on the diamond trade. My goal wasn't just to showcase jewelry, but to empower the buyer.
Over 3,500,000 views later, I have identified the biggest problem in the modern market: Decision Fatigue.
You don't need to see ten thousand diamonds. You need to see the right diamond. I used the feedback from thousands of conversations with frustrated buyers to build a better way to buy.
A diamond can be graded "Excellent" on paper but still leak light, look dull, and fail to sparkle in real life. Relying solely on the GIA grade is the most common mistake a buyer can make.
I realized that "Excellent" is a wide spectrum, often allowing for mediocrity. At Osiris, we don't look for Excellent. We look for the top 1% of the 1%.
Light performance is the only metric that matters—and you won't find it on a standard certificate.
The "Fancy Shape" Blind Spot
If you are searching for an Oval, Pear, Radiant, Emerald cut, or any shape other than a Round Brilliant, the challenge becomes significantly greater.
Here is the truth: The GIA does not provide a Cut Grade for fancy shapes. While a Round diamond is graded on its 'Cut' (Excellent, Very Good, etc.), all other shapes are only graded on 'Polish and Symmetry.' This means a diamond can be graded with 'Excellent' Polish and Symmetry, yet still look dull, have a distracting dark 'bow-tie,' or lack that crisp brilliance you’re looking for.
Because there is no universal 'Ideal' standard for these shapes, most retailers simply sell you whatever is in their vault.
I don't buy "off the numbers." I have spent years refining a vetting process that looks for the specific facet interactions and light performance that the labs choose to overlook. We understand the potential flaws of every shape, and we simply avoid them.
We don't just find you a shape; we find you the top 1% that actually performs in real-world lighting.
I decided to stop partaking in the “giant list” model. I don’t want to offer you 50,000 diamonds where the bad are hidden among the good.
I curate. I filter. I reject 99% of stones so you don’t have to.
I built Osiris Ideal™ to offer clarity, not confusion. A smaller inventory, but one built strictly on light performance, crisp angles, and maximum brilliance.
Fewer options. Better options. The sparkle she deserves.
Osiris Ideal™ diamonds are hand-curated and sell quickly. Join the list to get notified the moment a new inventory drop goes live
